Accredited Diploma in Advanced and Deep Tissue Massage Techniques

This is a one-day professional diploma course. Traditional Swedish massage therapy is generally used for relaxation, the techniques you will learn on this course enables the therapist to focus on and treat specific problems. Clients are increasingly asking for deeper and more advanced techniques due to their effectiveness in treating a host of issues, the most widespread being back and shoulder pain. On this course you will learn deep tissue techniques, trigger point, palpation, neuromuscular techniques, and hands-free techniques all for a full body treatment.

This CPD course is suitable for therapists qualified in massage and anatomy and physiology to a UK recognised qualification.

Time

Courses run Saturdays or Sundays from 10.00am-4.30pm. Time is dependent on number of students. You will need to arrive at the training venue 15 minutes prior to the course start time.

Pre-requisites

A good standard of written and verbal English.

A level 3 body massage qualification (not from an online course). If you do not hold one you can study our level 3 body massage course first, click here for information.

An anatomy & physiology qualification. If you do not hold this, we offer an online A&P course click here for information.

Group training – no, students will work on each other.
