ABOUT

Hello, I am Lenka, a Natural Health Specialist and certified Therapist. I am fully insured and registered member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP), the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and Complementary Therapists Association (CThA).

My passion about healthy diet and lifestyle started years ago while travelling overseas. Even though, I have had always been interested in science and tried to keep myself healthy, throughout my life I have struggled with many health-related issues starting from weight and digestive issues, ongoing chest and ear infections to low energy, exhaustion, depression, insomnia and suicidal thoughts. However, travelling overseas changed my life. To be able to stop and reflect on my life gave me a chance to see what I needed to change in order to become healthier and happier. Since then, I have been on a journey of continuous personal and professional development. I have learnt about different techniques, such as meditation, breathing exercise, yoga, as well as been attending many courses, seminars and webinars, to develop my knowledge of healthy, natural way of healing our body and mind, and to keep up to date with the latest scientific research in health and nutrition.

I see clients of all ages, both male and female with diverse health issues, working with them closely on an individual basis. I possess certificates in Holistic Massage Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial release technique, Indian Head Massage, Lymphatic drainage technique, Reiki, as well as diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition from College of Naturopathic Medicine. These days I am also studying CranioSacral Therapy with Upledger Institute. Next to my knowledge of body systems and massage techniques, I also use my intuition while providing treatment, which gives me more insight what your body needs are.

Using the principles of functional medicine my main aim is to explore upstream root causes of illness, rather than merely suppressing downstream symptoms of ill-health, and therefore I work with my clients to alleviate and prevent illness and disease, as well as to promote good health, by making dietary and lifestyle recommendations. My approach is to work with whole foods, giving you the tools, tips and confidence to easily incorporate healthy eating into your daily life, ensuring that you have all the nutrients needed to support your natural healing mechanisms.
